Loosely based on the 2nd Law of the Universe; The Principle of Correspondence, “As Above” tells the story of The Earth Plane returning home from a late night out, to find herself intuitively drawn to a presence she can’t ignore. Alone, The Earth Plane follows her instincts through a twisty windy hallway looking to connect an alluring call to her.

NEW NATION

Projection design for NEW NATION, Convergence Theatre

A New Nation was a Helen Hayes Awards© Recommendation performance in Washington, DC. It probes responses to the immigration crisis in the US and current perceptions of the stranger, amplifying diverse voices to challenge fear and strengthen our sense of home. The journey of an unaccompanied minor, a deportation notice and everyday life in a new land are glimpses of the narratives that move beyond the boundaries of the theatre itself.

HAPPY ENDING

A long-running Off-Broadway hit, Happy Ending was written by Douglas Turner Ward, founder of The Negro Ensemble Company. Happy Ending is directed by Ella Davis, Artistic Director of All About the Drama Theater Group and Board Chair of Anacostia Playhouse. This performance was also @Helen Hayes Recommended.
